Title: VIDI slideshow
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 07:54, 16 January 22

Mode 1 slideshow using the VIDI hardware peripheral & the VIDI software.

Now as with the previous VIDI videos what you are seeing here is composite video output from a DVD player being processed by the VIDI hardware/software running on a 6128. In this particular case the images you are seeing are Jpeg's (from Wikipedia & other sites) stored on a USB and then being displayed in real-time on the CPC - back in the eighties you would have grabbed images from TV broadcasts or video tape.
In the video I select and save a few of the images for display in a later video using the Advanced OCP Art Studio.

Not emulated - original hardware and software.
Please note that  the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.
