2cdt: is it still maintained? By who?

Hi,
I'm not much into the preservation of CPC, but I found the 2cdt utility useful in the past, and I packaged it for a Linux distribution.
Anyhow, it does not compile anymore with newer compilers because of some errors (easy to fix).
So I was going to get in touch with the maintainer to fix the problem at the source, but...

The tool is advertised here in this post, seemingly by the author - but hasn't logged in this forum for more than 4 years.
There is also a repository here, but it's not the place where it is being developed.
It can be be downloaded from here, which seems to be the actual latest version on Kevin Thacker's website, but the contact form does not work, and the email address in the About page bounces emails back.
Also I can't really tell which is the latest version: somewhere I see posts from 2014, somewhere else people claim 2016, or even 2018.

So, just to fix, I made a patch to make it compile, but I'd like to solve the "problem" at the source - if possible.
Can someone point me to the author? Does someone know if the software is still maintained? And what is the "reliable" source for possible future updates?

Thank you, and happy retrocomputing to all :-)

Hi,

Yes I still maintain it and I've sent you my e-mail via PM.

I read cpcwiki daily :)

Hi @arnoldemu , thank you for your work and your reply.

I got your PM, thanks.
Since we can talk in public on this forum, I think that we can keep this conversation here, for the benefit of all of those who might possibly be interested (if ok for you).

More context: I used your utility, and found it useful, so I packaged for a Linux distribution in a user/community software repository, a few years ago.
At that time, I downloaded the reference archive from this page. Then a few years passed, and a couple of days ago I noticed that I can't get 2cdt to compile anymore - not a big deal, just a few warnings that have been turned into errors by newer compiler. So, I tried to contact you to ask some questions.

1) is this the place where you publish the latest versions of 2cdt? (given that there are new things to do - I can easily imagine that's mostly housekeeping)
2) do you plan to integrate the patch to keep it up to date with gcc 14? (or maybe relax some warning flags?)
3) do you have some public repository (eg. something under version control, eg. Github or similar) where we can check for updates?
4) do you accept contributions from other people? If yes, how?

Thank you for your time.
