I dont like emulators but this old youtube link had my interest few time ago, amstrad on a first rpi at good speed.

RetroPie has CPC emulated with the internal emulators, and supports CapriceRPI as optional.

CapriceRPI also works as standalone emulator but disables the hi-res modes to gain decent speed at no overclocked RPI1. And you have decent menus and GUI.

I like CapriceRPI as well for My Pi 2 model B. The inclusion of an easy accessible virtual keyboard sweetens the deal for me. =)
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?
