How did you get on with the gp2x source compiling on the Pi?

KaosOverride

It's my own port for GP2x, I just undo some dirty tricks and re-port to PI. Also back in 2007 I was able to compile the GP2x sources for PC Windows, x86 linux and GP2x.

The new sources are very easy to compile under PI. Just untgz and do a make. There are few prerequisites like the DISPMAN SDL that I will update at the sources as an optional binary/source download for compiling. Now I'm working with a DISPMAN SDL that works fine at RPI 1 and 2, but it has VSync and can't go over 60FPS/120% speed when unlocking realtime speed limit. Before I was able to work more than 250% speed.

Fortunately tape turbo works at 500% speed

So when you select a game in RaspPie and it switches to Amstrad screen. Do you have to type Cat every time?

Also I can't get CDT files to work, are they not compatible?

KaosOverride

Yes, CPC4RPI needs a keyboard to run commands, as a real CPC.

Also, EmulatorStation scripts only scan for DSK images to show at the launcher, as CPC4RPI has de CDT and SNA loading from command line removed :(
