french keyboard support for cpc(&+) emulators for pc please

anyone know of an emulator that supports french keyboard please
can anyone use bmp2scr to convert a video from the pc
rotate it thru 90º
and use interlaced 160x200 mode for
400x160 when on its side? does it look any good?
what a shame the + never bothered to add 16k to video ram for 16 colours at the rediculous 320x200 rez

Well all Emulators support french keyboards (in theory)
What you need are the french system roms.

You can download the French ROM here: ROM Table - CPCWiki - The Ultimate Amstrad CPC Community & Encyclopedia!
Save it in the correct sub-directory and then choose it as the Firmware/OS you want the Emulator to use.

My work in progress of arnold supports french keyboards.

bmp2scr is a tool for spectrum I think. I think you need my tool bmp2cpc, or another to convert.
I did not try the monitor on it's side, because my monitor is not healty and I didn't want to break it. But the problem is that everyone would have to turn their monitor on it's side, it's not a great solution.

to give fast 320x200 at 16 colours on the plus it would need it's own dedicated 32k ram, there is not enough memory bandwidth I don't believe to give this.
the aleste did it, but it sacrificed some cpu speed.
