BTW.: When you downloaded JavaCPC 6.2 and unzipped/installed it, it has a "surprise" in tape-deck  ;) simply type RUN" and press a key, then press play on tape  ;D
("END" is the small enter key! So you can also press CTRL & END)

Here a video from loading the German Schneider CPC 464 welcome tape:

Attention! Bugfix!

Sorry, but a bug has been in release.
When you tried to run it as website-applet, an annoying empty window opened.  >:(

fixed...  :)

Also: When you run it as application, and the emulator crashed, you could not quit the emulator...
So I added a "Force quit" entry in menu.
Please use only, when the application crashed! Or you will probably loose some data on unwritten DSK!

Awwww man the welcome tape is an awwwesome idea! The emu itself is great. I love it how the tape deck pops up when you enter RUN", or how the on-screen icons appear (although I'd prhave prefered more retro-styles ones). Thanks... :)

Thanks  ;)

About retro-styled icons:
Who wants, can paint them  ;D
I need the icons in 2 sizes:  64x64 pixels & 32x32 pixels, booth in PNG format with transparented background.

Here you can see all icons:

- Autotyping
- Digiblaster output
- Muted sound
- Emulation paused
- Printer output
- Floppy reading
- Tape reading
- Floppy writing

So, if someone wants, help me to create new icons more retro style  8)

I am also thinking about adding a download for non-official versions (beta) because i am always coding on JavaCPC.What do you think about this? Should I add a download including latest .JAR / .EXE file? (Without roms, readme and other things)

Cheers,
Markus

About the beta downloads: Well, you're putting out so many versions I think that someone needs to be a freak to want to download them all! I think the current pace is more than enough... :)

Wish I could draw something, though maybe we'll be able to find better icons!
