A question to all the fantastic emulator programmers out there. Have you ever though of releasing your own Amstrad CPC model (build as a selection inside an existing emulator of course)? How about a Z80@400MHz with 24-bit graphics@1280x1024 for example? ;) ;) ;) I don't know how compatible (or how easy would be to make it) it would be with the classic CPC models, but it would be an interesting discussion...

I wonder how projects like SymbOS / FutureOS would look on a hardware like that (even emulated)... ;)

FutureOS is totally happy with 4 MHz.  :)

Such an idea becomes interesting when having the chance to end up one day having the real hardware. But in this case cloning the good old CPC is not enough.  :)

Well, with all the *duinos and PIs out there... You never know... ;)

In any case, I think mode 0 would look fabulous on my new TV :) :) :)

If you want to see how the standard Amstrad CPC looks on that TV, here is a picture of the same TV I purchased specifically for the CPC.

I was thinking more along the lines of how a stretched mode 0 Amstrad screen would look like on a 85" TV! :)
