I am just coding on a GIF-Recorder for JavaCPC.
You will be able to record sequences as animated gif file. (Useful for some things, like creating a nice avatar, etc...)

Only thing is:
The emulator slows down while capturing a GIF file, but the output will be shown properly.
Please write me your opinions about this feature.
I like this , no image alteration w/ gif, shame gifs do not own sound
