While browsing through the web today, I found this nice piece of JavaScript:

Dan Griffin's Amstrad CPC Emulator

I like the fact, that it is open source.

Does anyone know more details about this emulator?

Speed is not a problem, as the PC power grow more fast than emulators accuracy. :D

For some reasons it doesn't help. If I switch to turbo modus, then on a 4 Core modern PC the system runs with 1400%, but with 80286 it did already run with 1200%.

A nice 10.000% Turbo mode would be interesting, to speed up Maxam ;-)

Show me your PC please, what has a turbo modus, and runs windows 7 with same speed than your 80286.

Or did you talk about FutureOS?  :P 8)

I talked about the emulators...

On the 80386 (80 MHz) it did run no$cpc. That did run in dos mode, and therefore was quick.

Here you are right...

But speaking about emulators and accuracy, I don't know, if no$cash emulator is the best solution.

(I will not say that other emulators are better or so but just personal thoughts)

Well, I'm not using it any longer since a lot of time. For reasons for sure.

I just had the idea of a real turbo mode for emus.

1 "Turbo" would be: Setting all CPU cycles to zero in the instructions.
But I'm not sure if it will cause serious crashes...

JavaCPC has a "real" turbo: You can enable it, and JavaCPC should speed up as much your PC can handle... (Until JavaCPC needs to sync. too often)

Yes, I know. But the Turbo of Caprice is still the most quick.
