QuoteI took photos of that picture running on a real CPC, there wasn't any shift at all between lines and I didn't see any horizontal resolution increase.
it actually increase the theoric vertical resolution more than the actual vertical resolution...

it also raise drastically the epylepticometer.

I'm not a huge fan of those sort of technics... but hey, it's demohardcore...

it involves changing R1 after HCC=R1.

On type 1 and type 2, it keeps on counting and it ends up going through all the memory. On type 1 the first line is static, the rest are not.
On type 0, it is all static.

Also, the line length, on type 2 and type 1, you can see a half char of border on the left. You don't see it on type 0.

I am sure these are known, but some details to fix in my emu.

We should really document all these things in one place, maybe the wiki.

I keep finding snippets of information all over the place, but never more than one or two at a time and certainly not presented coherently...

I've been writing a load of tests which are not yet publicaly available.
I agree the information should be in one place and made more clear.
I need to do more testing on all the cpc hardware.

monitor response is based on the end of the hsync.

Hi Kev, actually it appears to be based on the centre of the HSYNC, hence R3 changes by 1 result in 1/2 char shift.
