Hi all!
I am struggling to get Winape to use the Symbiface II. I cannot seem to detect the HD image (or a 2 GB USBF).
WinAPE just freezes on the BonnyDOS ROM.
Any advice here? Thanks...
BonnyDOS uses C,T,S addressing while SymbOS uses LBA. Try with SymbOS first, if this works you know at least that your setup is correct (WinApe does all emulations needed for Symbos, but not all features of the SF2). :)
The IDE implementation within WinApe is not complete. BonnyDOS tries to recognize the HDD during ROM booting and the status bit is not set properly. Therefore it hangs / loops.
