What an absolutely amazing individual.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread, but Steve Turner of Graftgold has very recently written a post on his blog that suggests that Jane Whittaker (using the pseudonym of Andrew Whittaker) was somewhat disingenuous and in fact did not contribute any programming to Flying Shark as he claimed in the Retro Gamer article.

I also note that the Gamesindustry.biz article no longer exists on their site. ::) Is there a connection?

That was informative, thanks for the link to the blog.

Yeah, I'd seen posts on Twitter over the last few days that cast a lot of doubt over the contents of those interviews.

What odd things to invent. Now't as queer as folk, an all that.

I wasn't aware of any of the other stories that had been appearing recently - but I certainly am aware of it now! :o By coincidence, I just came across it randomly on Steve Turner's blog, via a post on the Spectrum Computing forums.

There's an article on AIR Entertainment that covers this story in more detail, including a link to a YouTube video. I spent a long time this evening (probably too long) reading the many, many comments that been posted in response to that video (mostly from one account). The sheer number of lies he has told over many years is astonishing!
