Hello !!!

I present you a new small project in progress.
Nothing revolutionary level game since it is only a Sudoku ...

On the other hand graphically it is somehow a little new since this one except the gfx wallpaper will be composed for the game of icons in hard sprites. Either at the end 81 sprites hard in resolution mode 1.

So I need graphic designers to achieve as many different themes as possible.
The aim is to achieve, on the one hand:
-1 screen in the mode you want (mode 0 is welcome, but if you prefer mode 1 or 2, you can use them). You have the entire palette.
-9 hard sprites in 15 colors + 1 transparent ink.

Of course and as visible in the example .CPR (thanks to Kukulcan for this first theme), it is not necessary to use the sprites to make a classic sudoku based on numbers but well with icons .

I provide you for the background screen, a png with the framework of the game. YOU MUST IN NO CASE MOVING IT !!! You can modify it graphically but you must respect the location of the boxes.

Thank you for sending me your gfx in .png format (1 file for the game screen and 1 other for the icons) to my email address: bdciron(at)gmail(dot)com

To motivate you a little, I give you a playable .cpr version :)

Good job and thank you for all your future participation!

Looks lovely, couldn't work out how to actually play it though

I guess youre moving the plus sprites every single line! - clever!

I can do a theme based on my Chibi akumas characters & game if you like - it would be mode 1 for the background, and 16 color for the plus sprites.

here's a quick sample I knocked up - I'll get it finished if you think it looks ok.

I found it a bit confusing at first having pictures instead of numbers, but I got the hang of it fairly quickly. I still find it more difficult to solve than more traditional sudoku puzzles. :)

Kukulcan has a screenshot of a Mario-themed sudoku on the home page of CPC-POWER. I'm afraid I don't have the artistic talent to create my own theme, though. :(

My graphical skills are decidedly limited but that looks gorgeous and plays well too. I don't mind Sudoku without numbers, it doesn't actually seem any more difficult that way. Took me a while to figure out the controls but once I got the hang of it I could fill out the board pretty quickly.

Looking forward to the full version.  ;D

I always found sudoku easier with pictures than numbers :)
