Hi all,
I'm SUPER new to the CPC.
Is there a "known best" software repository for the CPC on the internet?
I have done some looking, but have not come up with a lot...
Thanks in advance! ;D

Indeed there is, and it's wonderful!

EDIT: Oh! I just noticed that a score attack competition based on my game is currently the front-page story on the site!

Hi, check this one too

ftp.nvg.unit.no/pub/cpc or one of its mirror used to be a good place too.
Recently a updated link to the game database with a lot of information and tons of software were posted here on the forum. I think it had was about 20+ GB... Can anyone help him with the correct name and link?

"Amstrad CPC softwares compressed in compact archives"
Although there's no information like the one you can find in CPC Power.
I also like the reviews here: http://cpcgamereviews.com/
This might help:

It's Gamebase CPC (https://www.cpc-power.com/gamebasecpc/index.php?page=accueil), and the most recent version (V33) is around 31GB in size when compressed.
Here is a link to discussion of Gamebase V33 on the CPCWiki forum:

It contains a
lot more than just the cassette and disc images, though - screenshots, music, and scans of the inlays, manuals, cassettes and discs.

That is cool! My data hoarding side personality just decided to download it.
Of course it did, that's what we mostly do :D
here is another (CPM), I was uploading the walnut creek cd but decided to check if it already available anywhere and it is here also...
