Hi there,
i am new to the CPC. First i have to admit, i am a Speccy addicted, but i have a crush on the CPC. I would love to convert an AGD game to the CPC. You can watch a video of the original game with description here:

For the Amstrad version i made the graphics and Sprites with AGD 1.4. (no sounds implemented at the moment). I know there is a new version, but i was surprised that even with the old AGD version i could convert the game quite good. I had to make some compromises, so there are roman numerals indicating, which plectrum can be taken next. Sadly enough i have no idea how to implement music. It is a fun project, so i hope someone will find it amusing to give a hand to make it a real CPC game.
I have attached the the .sna file, which i created in WinApe.
Maybe there is a CPC user out there, who would like to help to make the game fly ;)
Happy Easter

No takers? ;)
I talked about it, too bad it didnt work.
I suspect the problem is that AGD has never really caught on amongst CPC users, at least partly because it's always been a bit buggy and had a few too many restrictions. That said isn't one of the touted benefits of the new Windows based variants that it should be easier to convert a game from one platform to another? Might be worth giving that a try to see if it helps at all. There have been a lot of good games on the speccy coming from AGD and it'd be great to see a similar tool catch on with CPC users.
