Recently I found again this old gem. Its an extremely tough game (for those who remember)!
It seems almost impossible NOT to loose the buggy and then it gets dark (cannot figure out what to do then)

Has anyone actually finished it? It says there are 8 levels..

PS:
I sat down and discovered a cheat today with WinAPE but still, I cannot pass level 2  :-[
(I also found out how to skip levels but I want to play the game and enjoy it..)

I promised a friend of mine I'd do a longplay and review of this game. But like you, I got so frustrated and p***ed off with level 2 that I gave up ... for now. May go back to it, but god I hate that long title screen of text that appears every time when you just want to start the damn game up again!!

AMSDOS

I got to Level 2, that's totally evil as opposed to Level 1 which is simple once you figure out what you've got to do!  :o  True you can shoot the spikes with your Rockets but shoot the Jeep and your done for! And what's the go when the Jeep is destroyed all you can pretty much do is shootout until your dead with your one life!  :o  The Scrolling is nice and fast even though it isn't super smooth!  :)
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D * And create my own ;)
* Incorporating the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

I remember the scrolling is super smooth on a real CPC (will test!)

You should see level 3 (I cheated for this!). You must fill four gaps for the  bridges, but I cant see any of those pieces to carry (?)

In further levels, there are cannons & some kind of lasers which you must bomb.

Still I dont believe anyone can play this normally!

Here's a fix for this: poke #2EE3 with #C9 and the sound is deactivated. Now these screens are much more faster.

Want more?  :P

Poke #195A with #C9 and you cannot die from anything! One thing only here -dont fly to the extreme edges of screen because game engine gets dizzy..

No matter of these cheats, still I loose my buggy at level 2  >:(
