But I'm wondering, what Amstrad will have in 2012. Probably the CPC -or whatever it's called by then, I'm sure it won't be so cool to have a "colour" computer anymore- will have 8 megabytes. Will it be incorporated to the monitor, finally a true all-in-one? Floppy disks holding 5, or even 10MBs? Triple drives? Da future will be neeeeat!

Your future sounds incredible, but do you think we'll ever need 8MB, just think how long th tape would need to be!

 Hellooo, you missed the part about triple drives? Nobody will be using tapes by then, and if they do it'll probably be some high-speed rolls like the mainframes use. You know, ultra-fast seek rates and all. Multiloading won't even be a problem at those rates!

Maybe they will switch from using cassettes to using 8 track cartridges with 9 track tape heads. 
Just like the mainframe computers using 9 track tape drives.

I've just had a brilliant idea, what if they were to split the data across 8 cartridge drives, reading and writing files would be 8 times faster, could the z80 keep up?
