Arkanoid has been graphically finished for 2 years, that's why I suggest it.
My beat 'em all is just rushes, and then Sigh came up with some really cool stuff that I think it would be nice for coders to look into.
For my part, I'm working with a game currently with Roudoudou on CPC +, I'm not available for anything else until at least the end of the year.

How do you feel drawing using a 4096 colour palette instead of 27 ?

Oh man. Arkanoid(s) already looked great, but this takes it to another level... crossing fingers this becomes reality. Even as a cpc-skinned PC game it'd be awesome.
