I can not get these otla wav files to load at all on my 6128 plus. But dizzy works a treat on the Cpc 6128. If only I could work out how the otla application is meant to work. I wonder how fast 'oh mummy' for example would load after the cdt is converted.

It's pretty simple if you make a SNApshot.

Since WinApe:

* Set the emulator exactly like the real thing. (be accurate on this)
* Load the game.
* Save the SNapshot (F5/F6) when it's fully loaded.
* Reset
* Load the SNApshot and verify.

Uninstall-reinstall Otla.
Load the SNApshot. (File/New add)
On Wav Settings, reduce sample/bit (bps) to 4 (11025 bps)
Then you got it: PLAY or SBB=>WAV

Of course it can be optimized.
On my CPC's I know I can set 3,5 (12600 bps) , 90ms pause and other things I messed up since. (so it's not optimized anymore)
You have to test this yourself. Sometime I had to inverse the polarity. So I saved + and - same version. They are all on my phone..

But as I wrote, it's not the original tape in turbo mode at all.

Here a pack with Boulderdash 1 and 3 in, they works for me. Very fast. They aren't SNA but stand alone executable in BIN. Since it worked for you on the real 6128, test it! So maybe we can share and make a collection. (it's the fastest parameters I did, it could not work for you)

I was hoping to use the cdt rather than a sna. Something interesting in loading a tape in seconds not minutes. For sna files I load then straight from the symbiface ide drive :)

I load the SNA in 30 secs. Converting a CDT to SBB isn't simple and takes time. I seriously doubt someone will waste his time with this.

Btw there are not just SNA in my pack. Boulderdash games are BIN...

I will grab it and test them out on my plus and Cpc tonight.

tested a few on the CPC 6128, All work just fine :)

The 6128plus however does not even find the loader section at all, Nothing - Nada - nowt. I wonder if my MacBook Pro is not loud enough for my self soldered tape mod ;)

Oh well they work on the Old school machine ;)
