Hello all..

I wonder if anyone could steer me in the right direction. I'm attempting to collect a full set of Alternative Software titles. Been searching for a complete list of their releases, but havn't found anything full. CPC power have a lot, but put Alternatives re-releases under the original release. I've contacted Alternative, Yes, they still exist! and they say they may be able to get a list from the archives for me.

Has anyone had any experience in getting alternative cassettes? Any stories or advice would be brilliant,.

CPC power lists 83 titles by Alternative Software - see list attached
Oops... see you already checked there....

I've noticed if it's a licence or one of their later games, the prices can go up.

Going by the CPC Power list, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Dalek Attack,  never came out.

They re-released Aliens US edition, there was a big compilation called Ginormous Collection - I'll dig that out later and photograph it.

I'll compare what I have to CPC Power's list later.

This is what I have that isn't on CPC Power's List

MAD FUNKY
OPERATION HORMUZ
SPITFIRE 40 (on it's own)
US BASKET MASTER
THE MUNSTERS
SOCCER BOSS

Alternative also re-released the original GAME OVER from Imagine/Dynamic..

Life's a bitch. You marry one or two then you die !

Skunkfish

It does seem to be rally driver.
It looked good in the screenshot, not quite as good in motion*....

*=I don't think motion is quite the right word - it may well be measured in seconds per frame rather than frames per second.
