Hi all, ive just picked up a tape of Donkey kong from ebay for around £40 inc postage, i haven't tested yet but know its fairly rare and was wondering how much it normally goes for, is that a fair price?

it depends on the edition, but it's not rare at all. I think a fair price is from 5 - 10 euro for a ERBE/Ocean edition to 10 - 15 euro for a Nintendo/Ocean edition.

You were robbed! Sorry.
I paid £15 a couple of years back. Still works perfectly.

The £40 price would be more for the disc version and that's difficult to find.
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

A couple of years back you could get a CPC for a quarter of its current price.

Impossible to say. There's simply no stable market for Amstrad CPC software and it's not clear what is rare - and what each title is worth.
