An update is underway on the ranking of Amstrad games on the site.
After realizing that in some games it was enough to stay in the same place to accumulate points to be better ranked than the players who progress in the levels, I made some modifications.
Now for this type of game such as Rick Dangerous or Scooby Doo for example, the level reached will now be taken into account in the ranking.

Now that JustGet9 ( https://cpcitor.itch.io/just-get-9 ) shows a score (see https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/games/just-get-9-has-just-been-published!/25/#msg210477  ), does it make sense to include it in bzhgames competition?


Here's the logic I figured out to sort games of Just Get 9.

Each game is summarized by:
* at the time the highest number was reached for the first time in the game
* remember:
  * the number
  * the number of moves since the beginning of the game
  * the time since the beginning of the game

When comparing two games:
* whichever has reached a higher tiles comes first
* if they reached the same higher value, then whichever achieved that in fewer moves comes first
* if games are equal on value reached and move count (when reaching that value), then whichever had that event in shorter time comes first.

Since the time is recorded at 1/50 second precision, it is extremely unlikely there will be ties.

Notice that players have reached 9, then "J" (value 10), then "U" (value 11). It is unknown if higher values can be reached. Every new value about doubles the playing time!

I hope all of this makes sense. Perhaps it makes sense after playing it a few times.

As there are few participants, I rarely add games. Yet I found the principle of scores nice, but that does not interest many people. So I spend less time on it.
