i'm talking about smoke shootings appearing during play in the right of view.


this antiaircraft and battle tanks shoots really destroy our harrier? Must we avoid them?


i did try run rom but y cant use keys to take off.


i'm developing a x64 windows clone but i dont know that detail.

Been an age since I played that one!
If you were refering to the smoke from your shooting a tank etc, the harrier always flew through it without damage.

That was the Flak, and it did eventually blow your plane up  at random so was advisable  not to fly through it. The Amstrad version was the best . I think the Speccy version killed you if you flew into flak, same as the Oric version. Also the Game stopped after one mission on the Oric, I think  with the Spectrum version too.

Thanks lazy dude. I know i can go through smoke of destroyed enemies. it is already implemented.


Thanks puresox. I think i should use your theory. So, Random way the game can kill harrier if you touch smoke from flak. Now i can understand why youtube playdemos player trying to avoid.

Smoke should be in general something which does no harm. Else I would consider it a bug.

- Flaks dont kill you (!?)

FLAK definitely kills you , it is cumulative effect, have you tried flying through it ?

Yes, flying through flak smoke can kill you.
The number of flak you can fly through before you die, is random.
Sometimes it takes 8 flaks and sometimes 10 flaks.

HA Updated:

- Bottom of screen rewritten with Amstrad Font.
- Now flaks randomly kill you.
- Drawing current rocket and bombs in bottom data bars
- 40 Rockets + 40 Bombs (Correct me if is wrong)
- Sound is almost finished but a bit buggy because i have a problem with monogame soundeffect class (visual studio 2015 community + monogame 3.4). SoundEffect Class dont play effects (No compiler error). I must using Song class with mediaplayer instead SoundEffect class. That produces a cutting effect an i cant play twice sound together. But it is amazing to see Harrier Attack in Windows!! Net forums repeat same sound issue but i dont found solution. anyone can help?

Thanks for this, have you got the ejector seat option I always thought it was a bit of a pointless thing, but looked cool all the same.
If it is not to rude a question , how long did this project  take to do? Have you anymore games planned?
