Hi there!

I've been playing Tau Ceti recently. After I dock with a city Library and view the City Maps, there is something I don't quite understand.

Specifically, when I dock with the Library on Remma, I am able to view city maps for "Remma", "Remma (0)", "Centralis" and "Hame". I don't understand what the map for "Remma (0)" is? It shows only a few icons (A Reactor (small light blue square), and north of it are 3 Robot factories (Small green crosses)). It is a very different map in comparison to the actual map for "Remma"...

I tried traveling north of the reactor on Remma for ages to see if I could find the robot factories, but found nothing...

Any ideas? Many thanks!

You don't have the equipment needed to get to outposts yet - keep searching those libraries :)

Cool, I'll keep searching those libraries then, thanks for your help :)

Hi!

I eventually found the outpost jump device thingy in the Library on CENTRALIS (Not sure if it can always be found in that same library?). Unfortunately, I started my journey flying away from CENTRALIS, covered about 10 cities (Along the way I visited HAME, ROON, PREEMA, JADE), before arriving at CENTRALIS. I've also managed to assemble a couple of Rods and fitted them into the reactor. BTW. Quite cool sound when you are fitting a rod into the reactor, I think its supposed to sound like breathing in a space suit :)

So just a few questions if anyone can help answer:

- What is the point of the outposts? I guess if there is a Reactor at the outpost, then it might have some Reactor rod parts (The outpost on CENTRALIS didn't have any rod parts though, but maybe I just got unlucky)?

- Do Durium Crystals do anything good for you, or do they explode randomly and cause damage?

Many thanks!

:)

Yes, you'll have to search the outposts to find all the rod pieces (the point is to extend the playtime of the Special Edition - the original didn't have Libraries or Outposts at all.)

And not everything you find in a library is good for you :)
