Is there a robotwar like game on CPC ?

Idea: make robots out of the computers themselves, the 464 would tower over the competition!

That's somehow similar but not the same. With Core War you create assembler-like code that is executed in a virtual machine. if your code kills the other code, you win. In Robot Wars - if I understand correctly - you basically write the AI for a sprite on the screen.

There are many variants of this ... I also remember a listing where you have to write a little basic program and the winner is the one that is still executing code etc. ... I would also like to see those again
