It's a shame I hate adventure games where you have health points, because the game is visually amazing.

It totally looks like an 80s game, like the best looking text adventures in mode 1 from the era.

The color choices are also perfect.

Thanks! You can definitly play it: there is no healthpoint in the game and no softlock.  ;)

I created a translation project for the game on github.

https://github.com/Narkhos/le-dernier-serment-translation

For the moment I just added the html manual in french an english (Work in progress ^^).

I'm going to make a file containing all the texts for the game as soon as possible. That way, it'll be easier to translate into any language.

I got a Spanish translation for the manual! Looking forward to those game texts...

Hi! Cool :)

I published the entire sourcecode here: https://github.com/Narkhos/le-dernier-serment

I Structured the project to be 'as simple as possible' to make a translation. If you are interested I can guide you in the code. Here is a small roadmap:

database_xx.c contains all the objects and locations of the game with their names and description.
language_xx.h contains all the texts for story and menus.
parser/parser.c contains the list of verbs (and synonyms), and a list of words to ignore in the prompt

On a more technical aspect:
_c_SDCC3.bat is the compilation script. It needs to be modified to axcept the spanish parameter
- anywhere in the code where you found #if LANGUAGE == 1 need to be adapted for each language.
- The title screen is an image, we can keep the English title for every language (or we will need to draw the title for each lanaguage)
- DISC_XX.BAS is the launcher in basic, we can duplicate the english version. The only text in their is to warn people who don't have 128kb ram (it can be kept in english or translated. The text is 'The Last Oath needs 128kb of RAM to run'

If you have a github account, you can probably contribute directly on the project (not sure how it works)?
