Funny puzzle !
Well done  :D
Thank you very much for your effort.

I started playing it, it seems rather interesting but... come on, no save game on disk, only on tape?!
Once again a game that forces us to play on emulator and not on a real machine :(.

what they said at Retropolis 2024 is that this is due to no memory left to implement the disc saving game routine

Come on, this is 2024... At least allow 128k users to use that, or generate a password or something... My problem is that this once again dismisses players that want to play it on the real machine.

I totally agree.

The game is about half an hour long on the first playthrough and 5 minutes when you know what you're doing. A save function is not all that necessary.
Otherwise, there is the Mirage Imager, which I believe would let you save your state on a real CPC...

Mr. DVG

The solution of the English version on my YouTube channel... not to be seen for those who don't want spoilers! ;)

Well, I didn't know that and don't want to know that before starting the game :). But on TwittX, the author told me the save option on disc was on its way, which is great. Since they've made a generic engine, I think it's a required option for the forthcoming games!

Did you not read XeNoMoRPH's earlier post first?
Of course I did. But...
Didn't you see that in doesn't work?
It's still error 404!

My first thoughts where the same.
I just have no tapedeck at all.
On the other hand, it forces me to build
an arduino solution...
Not sooo bad at least.

None of them works. All error 404.
Err... yes. You may replace the word solution with the result of the puzzle.
Trust me, it did work for me.

That makes sense. Cheers

I mean I'm not what I used to be back in the day when it comes to adventures, but I hardly consider this a puzzle...

Errr... damn.
I just recognized, there is no Arduino based solution
of a "tape recorder" that is able to "record".
Seems, it's only PLAY file capable ?

Yes, but never mind. It worked for me as soon as I used another PC instead my old 2009 Laptop. No wonder that you couldn't solve it using symbos.  ;)
Just PM me and I'll tell you how to get to the solution.  :)
One hint right here: it got something to do with the directions. And the compass works as key. :)

The Electric Monk

Just had a chance for a playthrough, and I'm absolutely blown away! Major kudos to the programmers for providing an English version, or I would probably never have any incentive to play the game. (BTW, I found one instance where Spanish text remains - when you try using keys on invalid objects, the status message is not translated)

Very much looking forward to more of this. Very very well done!

vasilisk

With careful observation it is easy to solve...  :D

I was talking about the puzzle to download the game. Haven't played it yet ;D
