Best of the best :  is a simplified version of Panza kick boxing, it could have PLUS palette.

L'aigle d'or 2 : can also have PLUS mode.

I was quite impressed by this game at the time (on CPC though) as I believed it was as good looking as an Atari ST game.

Fluff...

But just check the Wiki's page :

? On CPC+ ???

dcdrac

no on the CPC normal I wander what Plus versions of Captain Blood and Purple Saturn Day could be like though

McKlain

Better colour palette and ingame music, that's for sure.

Mach 3 certainly could get the better colour treatment

MacDeath

Captain blood : the palette in Blues is already quite optimised for CPC.

The PLUS version could get the pointer/arm in hardsprite... so easier to "mask" and refresh some graphics... would use less CPU perhaps.

Also some parts could them mix different video modes because rasters...

More colours and some fine mode1 pixels at places.

Intro music with DMA = Atari ST like one...

Slightly arranged palette as well and rasters...
The console, upper part of the screen in different colours than galaxy or planets.

But the game is already awesome looking on CPC.

MODE 1 mock-up... ;)

Using sprites for coloring the icons too, may done an interesting result.

MacDeath

Nice, iz zat a CGA conversion ?

TotO

No, I started from an Atari ST screen as it is the best version.

Gryzor

Not according to Bryce :D

TotO

There is no discussion about this game.
It was made for the ST with the ST capabilities.
All ports, including the Amiga version, don't have the whole game content. ;)

Not even sure, the palette is optimised with blues and purples... which are abundant and plenty on the CPC and give the best gradiants...

It is useless to choose from 4096 colours when you only display 4 colours... really.
