Targhan is right to request that a walkthrough be not published yet...

...though I'm stuck early in the game (can't go up or down the ladders, can't use the computer in the Recharger room, can't insert anything behind the plant etc). Is it a case of finding more stuff with pixel-level precision or am I missing something?

However, I just player it for about 40 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it...

Read the paragraph between quotes ALOUD and you might get what you need...

Ah yes...

I get it now, thats the 2nd set of 3 numbers I've got now, along with the first from corpse on the reactor gangway. I'm still kinda stuck on where to go next though as I was before or where I should be looking for the last 3 numbers :)
Cheers mate really appreciated!

Hey Gryzor, did you...

Get the energy cell from a panel in the very first screen? It took me a while to and I also had to ask because it's very dark and you cannot see it easily.

No, all the remaining numbers (6 of them) are here, you should be able to get to the reactor.

Oh, are you saying the the commanders story has the last 6 numbers within it not just the three I thought I found?

Ah crap! :(

By the way, Spoiler code updated. Working better than the old code, and also the button on the WYSIWYG editor always appears (the Sp button next to the Quote button)

Yes. Read the text between quotes *very* carefully.

Yay mate!!! Is the ending any good? :)
It depends on how he completed the game. There are three possible endings. ;)

Gryzor

Ooh... is it obvious when the fork takes place so you can save beforehand?

No, but I will tell you in the spoiler below:

Save the game just after you receive a mail on your PDA from the MainServ computer.

Well...
Spoiler: ShowHide

I've made it up to level 2 and wandered about a bit, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere useful to go. There is a sealed door which I tried to open with the crowbar but no luck. The lifts won't take me any further and there is a broken robot, but i don't have any of the bits to fix it (not that I'd know what to do with it if I did!) I've even tried pixel hunting all over the screens to see if there is something I've missed, but no joy.

Haylp!

I think I officially suck at adventure games.  :(

Go pixel hunting just to the lower right of the door and you should find the solution.

Yay mate!!! Is the ending any good? :)

Ahh, sorry I'm late replying to this! Yes the ending is good, the whole game has been amazing from start to finish! I think most certain in the top 10 best games ever for the Amstrad EASILY ... in my opinion anyway! I do have some 'wishes' for the game, but really given the quality of product it would only be considered irrelevant and pointless nitpicking - I'm really looking forward to a sequel but everyone involved must be exhausted from the whole project!!

re the ending - I'll put in Spoiler tags just in case although there isn't much actual spoiler material I'll write... but also some questions for Targhan in another spoiler tag -

Spoiler: ShowHide
The ending is probably the best ending to an Amstrad game ever!!!! However unless I've not fully completed the game as there's apparently 3 endings (I'll come onto this shortly) I would say that compared to the amazing and long intro it's a little short (ignoring the long text and credits scroller) and a bit disappointing - BUT that's only in comparison to the amazing opening. So don't take that the wrong way!!

Question for Targhan / game developers regarding different endings, possible missed sections....
(DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS)

Spoiler: ShowHide
So I've seen 2 endings ... one escaping before setting the reactor to blow up (and killing billions teehee!) and a short ending after doing that ie - 2 screens, one of the ship leaving Orion Prime and then the one of it sort of exploding with the music. I've been playing the 3" disc version. I've read somewhere that the ending is longer on the 3.5" version is that correct? Am I really missing much?

Regarding the 3rd ending which I haven't seen, can you give some pointers on how to trigger this?

I'm wondering if it's linked to saving Helena? Obviously I woke her up earlier with the smoke grenade and off she went presumably into the 3 level labs....
Perhaps she escapes with you, and you have sex with her in zero gravity like in Moonraker or something! haha!!
Do you ever get to go to the labs?? Lift door is still locked ... a whole new possible section I'm missing out on or not??
Anything else?

Spoiler: ShowHide
On the 3.5" disc version, the third ending contains an additional full-screen image with a digitised tune to accompany it. There wasn't enough room to include it on the 3" disc version.

Spoiler: ShowHide
Correct - you have to rescue Helena after you have set the reactor to self-destruct.
