I think there is some spoiler functionality, will look into it (right now I'm on my balcony enjoying some juice with my netbook, not much room for tinkering with code) :)

Thanks a lot for your comments.
As for the technical issue, some emulators don't like the way I handle FDC, so simply can't load any file once the music starts. I think the latest CPE version can handle this, as well of course as Winape (with "Fast Disc Emulation" option unchecked).
As for the hint :
QuoteAs always subtle hints appreciated, but no major spoilers please ;)As subtle as I can:
Quote from: Deeko on 01:11, 26 July 10
Yes, subtlety lol If I understand Grim correctly then this is going to get a bit more gory :o
Quote from: Ythcal on 00:35, 27 July 10
Wow, now I'm totally stucked...
Quote from: remax on 02:22, 22 July 10
As i am french, i have had much more time to complete the game. It took me quite a lot of time too and got stucked a few time. So nothing unusual here. It's quite a hard game.

So, when's a walkthrough going to be posted? :D Though a UHS (http://www.uhs-hints.com/) file would be perfect I guess...
Quote from: Xyphoe on 09:15, 05 August 10
I'll be doing a Long Play video as soon I've completed it :)
God knows how many YouTube vids and parts it will take! lol
Quote from: Gryzor on 09:16, 05 August 10
Yeah, but, although a longplay will be really cool, it's not nearly as useful as a walkthrough or a hint system...
Quote from: Targhan on 11:25, 05 August 10
Please do not release a walkthrough now ! I have one ready, we will publish it someday soon.
I didn't know the UHS thingy, I guess I could set up something here.

Quote from: Gryzor on 19:13, 10 August 10It depends on how he completed the game. There are three possible endings. ;)
Yay mate!!! Is the ending any good? :)
Quote from: Gryzor on 11:55, 13 August 10No, but I will tell you in the spoiler below:
Ooh... is it obvious when the fork takes place so you can save beforehand?

I think I officially suck at adventure games. :(

Question for Targhan / game developers regarding different endings, possible missed sections....

Not easily. Though the content is the same, the sector names are different. So copying several sectors from one coy to another of a different format will give a copy error. You could however use Discology to copy/paste the savegame sectors, but it's a boring process. Tell me if you're interested, so that I give you the sectors you need to copy (I need to remember what they are too :) .
Quote from: Executioner on 04:22, 24 September 10
Or you could use Xexor and simply write the sectors to a file, then read them back to the other sectors.

Hi all,
Orion Prime has now an improved website :
http://www.orion.cpcscene.com
You will find new topics, like Hints for desperate players, and Goodies, in which you'll be able to download the whole soundtrack of the game in OGG format (Yes ! Even the song still not uploaded to the CPC Radio !).
We may come for more if people requests it.
Thanks,
Targhan/Arkos.
Quote from: Xyphoe on 05:35, 28 September 10Have you guys contacted Retro Gamer magazine to review the game yet?I received the latest issue (#83) of Retro Gamer today, and Orion Prime is indeed the main feature in the 'Homebrew' reviews section. It's come a bit late, but better late than never. Find out what Jason thought of it in the spoiler below:
I'm sure TMR (Jason) would make this the main game feature in his section.

Quote1) How do I trigger the 'Secret Mode' that we're told in the credit scroller?Aaaaawwwwwwww, you're evil! :P
I may tell the secret some day (http://cpcwiki.eu/forum/Smileys/akyhne/smiley.gif).
Quote2) How is it the german translation going? Just curiosity, you know
TFM and Octoate have apparently almost finished the work. It was going slow because of me (no spare time at all right now !!). Who knows, maybe in a month or two...

Oh, and... please don't show the ending (or just the first part)... Since the German version hasn't been release, maybe some people would still like to discover the game by themselves...

Maybe it allows players to enter level 3... then again maybe not
Quote from: Targhan on 16:01, 21 January 11
We're a bit against releasing it because it was meant to be a goodie exclusive for the people who bought the game, so please don't spread it on the net. However, if some people want your scan and it doesn't bother you to send it, then it's ok to me.

What I did while playing on a real CPC was to dump the disk, play with my save game on WinAPE at 50% speed to be able to complete the pump game, wrote the disk back and continued playing.
Quote from: manossg on 08:42, 30 November 21Somewhere in this thread the game coder has said that there isn't any way to bypass it.
Has there been found a way to bypass the (unnecessarily difficult) pump part?
