Puzzle Bobble CPC Version???

Yes, I take the a part of the scoring system of the arcade version. "This figure continues doubling for each bubble dropped, up to 17 or more bubbles" ;)

Ah ok... 16 is SO easy to achieve... and this limits the theoretical highscore to less than a million... and you have space for 99.999.999 points ;-)

just kidding ... got it... it's intended. So less risk for me in the future ;-)

Everyone liked the game on average, but the issue of the absence of the arrow pointer was widely criticized (I manage the Italian facebook group dedicated to Amstrad CPC). I imagine that having used the "central" mode 0 the edges are sacrificed a lot and there is not enough space to add more details in the central area. Too bad because adding that detail the game would be perfect and would earn a lot of points! ;)

When I was in high school, I once did a perfect presentation and was downgraded a full grade because I didn't put the formulas in bold in the handout. (I don't imagine that, he said it exactly this way). I still think this was totally unfair. A comment, maybe even a tiny downgrade (A instead of A+) would have been acceptable, but going from "perfect" to "good" (B) because of a tiny graphical artifact that doesn't have any impact on the presentation and experience of the audience is weird.

Nobody criticizes the work that has been done (graphics and sound in the first place), that has been fully appreciated, but the arrow pointer, without the continuous guideline, is not a simple detail, but an integral part of the gameplay of Puzzle Bubble (otherwise it is not Puzzle Bobble, but a variant of it inspired by it)! There isn't much more to add!

I played it on a real CPC. This is a really good game, congratulations to the whole team!
There are many things I liked:
- The background that changes, and with the music.
- The music is very good.
- The game plays easily and nothing hinders from enjoying it.

Now I'd like to make some constructive remarks. Please do not be offended by it, this is my opinion only!
- The game is made too easy by one flaw in the physics: the ball can often be thrown "between" two balls and should be stuck by them, but many times, continues and reaches the line above, making it easy to destroy the top line.
- The main graphics are sadly only average. The balls look like raw transfer without modifications. The CPC, and the graphist I'm sure, can do better than that. Anti-alias is possible on CPC!

Anyway, this is a very enjoyable game, congratulations!

Yes, I have noticed that with the physics. Sometimes the ball fits, and I don't know why! :D

I've played the game a bit longer and the screen shake before the board goes down one row forced me to quit the game. I've had motion sickness before, and the effect is not *that* bad, but for me it is very uncomfortable after playing for a while.

I don't know if it is the length of the effect, combined with me focusing on the board, or the length of the "shake"; but there you are.

Yes, i told that with the demo version, the shake effect makes me dizzy when i play a long time.
maybe it can be an option to be disconnected  and only move the rows?

- more animation (the balls shine :p)

- line didn't appear anymore after the first level (in hard mode)
