Not too expensive? From what I see that one is $200!

Yesterday I saw that too cause it was expensive in the past so I checked the price again.
But it has 2 sticks, a trackball and 18 buttons and I think those parts are expensive  :-X

Gryzor

Buttons are less than €1 each. Arcade sticks are in the €5-10 range IIRC. You can get a trackball for less than €20. So, all in all maybe  €55 retail, more if you want to go for more expensive parts like a 4/8 way stick, illuminated buttons etc...

VincentGR

Yes, and add wood/plastic/metal plates and paint  ;D
Also the pcb/chips for usb and seperation circuit for the buttons

Circuitry is, I would guess, next to nothing (please correct me, hardware guys!). Indeed the case is of course much more expensive than the other parts, though it depends on the quantities they've built.

But in any case I'd never call it cheap!

Since my feedback racing wheel for my Xbox 360 was over 100 EUR, then a genuine arcade joystick for 2 players with that level of compatibility does not seem overpriced to me.

Cheep, no. But not overpriced either. You get what you pay for.... And support a niche market company.

Yet I didn't say it was overpriced :)
