Do the retail versions of the free tapes have any extra value, specifically Easi-Amsword and Xanagrams. I noticed the copies I have are not the free versions.
Well, at least it used to be "worth more" to collectors of amsoft games/software. The free ones is obviously quite common but the "commercial" versions is usually worth a bit more .. espcially if they have the big amsoft display cardbox too.

I don't have the big cardboard boxes for them, but the tape labels don't have the "NOT FOR RESALE" on them:

While some machines do have "genuine" collectors, I don't think the CPC does, at least I have not seen any evidence of it.
Unless you count Neil 79 who collects Dizzy games ;D

Definetly! I can't imagine anyone preferring having the free ones. They look soo ugly. Anyone collecting Amsoft games will go for your version. Worth many times the free tapes
