Oooh, I used to love playing that!

I wasn't aware there was a DSK of it available.... any chance of a link to it, please?

Here you go. This is taken from the DSK file of Isotopes on NVG. Load it into CPCE, save it to a CSW file, then use SAMP2CDT to convert the CSW file to a CDT file. Easy to do it when you know how! ;)

In my opinion it's one of the best games to have been published in Amstrad Action's type-in section.

You can download it from NVG or from CPCWiki (along with a couple of other type-ins).

???  I usually just extract the file from Edit Disc in Winape and use 2cdt to make the tape.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

That was a good one..

I'd lost the tape for a good while so I got my goddaughter Molly to type it out last year (she was 7). My excuse was that it was educational for her. I gave her another issue or two of AA and told her to find out where the additional joystick controls were and add them.

it was worth it.. Her, me and my Annabelle (nearly 18) have regular contests on it. Annabelle's current champion.

Wonder if Mr J Fox-Geen is lurking in the scene somewhere?

I remember the Connect-4 Game from AA54 being written by some young one, I would of being of similar age then and envious.
