Another problematic game with (azerty) 6128+

Had some problems with Turrican II a while ago (could not get past the intro). Now I tried Mr Heli, because it had such a positive reputation here I tried 2 different versions (using HxC), but the game just sits in the main screen. Sound works and the game changes the screen (hi scores/credits/control info), telling me to "hit any key". Unfortunately no matter what I press, the game won't start. Is this a known problem? Tested with both System carts (Fr/Eng). Cannot test the disk images with another computer, because this is my only Amstrad.
Has someone had this problem before?

Choosing another level than level 1, I get the game running, but the helicopter won't move no matter what. Tried joystick an the keys instructed in the main screen.
