We have just published

Space Moves, by Toni Ramírez (http://cpcretrodev.byterealms.com/2016/03/space-moves-toni-ramirez/) (Video URL: https://youtu.be/55Gg0NZp0NI (https://youtu.be/55Gg0NZp0NI))
It's very nice of Toni Ramirez to share his hard works.
But now, we are going to have plenty of game-over / Army-moves clone for the CPCRetrodev 2016 :D
I'll study with care the source code, for sure.

The new HUD is fantastic. I'm always for more playable area, but in this case it is beautiful.
I'd like to see a little video of gameplay
The artwork used within the HUD 8)

It looks great, but... Games with big HUD wasting the screen area to display the game name always make me laugh.
Yet... they have a certain charm :)
Does this new release contain a new loading screen based on this lovely artwork ?
Some of us own a 6128+, not possible to use cassette. Any possible edition in disk, or, at least, dandanator, etc...???

I don't have the 100% verified information but I think that if they intend to release the game more later in DSK format

Sadly no one will be able to purchase the game at Amstrad Eterno, because the event has been cancelled (https://twitter.com/AmstradEterno/status/1237834501075714056) due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak. :( Spain seems to be hit particularly hard by the virus compared to most other European countries.
I don't know what Retrobytes Production's plans are now for the release of the game.

Thx. Don't hesitate to come back to confirm when the game will be available.
3 big french meetings in spring are cancelled too.
That virus has gotten us all in a proper mess... :(
Ineed if someone can inform us when it's available it'd be great.

It really looks best on a CRT!
Parallax scrolling, smooth animation, some detail like the parachute scene... Can't wait anymore.
This game deserve a luxurious physical release like the operation alexandra one.

Cool but 10,7 € shipping cost to France...Ouch
Sorry, is it the same version that won the CPCRetrodev, or is there anything updated? I want one, but I'd want to have also a digital version for M4 or to save in a 3" disk, (I own a 6128+).
Thanks.

The box form factor is probably the problem that require to sent it as packet and not letter, and the packaging is not free. May be they can send using Mondial Relay instead ? (I do that from France to Spain)

For Belgium too!!! Just as a reference, Mondial Relay in Spain is https://www.puntopack.es/ I have used many times between Spain and BE.
Is not just packaging, they need tracking too so they have some sort of coverage if the parcel gets lost (I'm assuming here, I don't know why those shipping costs).
Poly play got a lot of heat because they only offered tracked shipping and, yep... it is expensive. They reduced the costs, but then the parcels get lost and that is making even harder for the publisher to break even. Which is unfortunate if you want more physical releases in the future. Anyway, I digress.
Considering that there aren't that many high quality physical releases for the CPC, and that we are enjoying games like these in 2020 (!), I personally don't think it is too fair to complain about the price. But that's just my humble opinion.
Tracking and minimal insurance is mandatory when you send a parcel in Europe.
With French Post, you pay 12.55€ for the shipping including tracking and 25€ insurance. So 10.70€ is not excessive here... But, with Mondial Relay you pay 6.80€ for the same service.
The best is for 3cm parcel, using registered mail from France for 12.50€ including tracking and 150€ insurance. So, if it is lost, you won the jack-pot.
Mondial Relay will be used for Space Moves 2 shipping within Europe.
Thanks to the team. Can't wait mine.

Had a nice sense of nostalgia of Amstrad Action seeing this.

In all, when you get used to the control system and you work out a pattern for the Level 1 jumps, it's quite good.. and it's got me wanting to try out Army and Navy Moves again..
Kudos to the developers for a great game and when the cart comes up to buy, I'm going to try and get it.

Yes, i've contacted by twitter. 55€ + shipping. Really few units built.
