Has anybody ever come across any prototype/beta versions of Gryzor? I just know there's a small demo found both alone and bundled with some versions of Combat School.

Face Hugger did one. It can scroll.

That's the XContra demo right? I've tried that one too. It's pretty neat.

But I was thinking more along the lines of a developmental build of Ocean's Gryzor. Various betas have surfaced of many old-school console games (a lot of it for systems like NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, PS1, etc); maybe there's been a few for CPC games.

Gryzor on CPC is not already a demo version of the full Contra game?  :-\

When are you doing the definite version? :)

Can I ask why you're asking? :)

Prototypes/betas have turned up of many other Contra games, mostly the console Contra games. I've also seen some betas of home computer games turn up. A few DOS ones, a few Spectrum and also C64 betas. These things are pretty interesting; they were primarily test/preview versions but ended up creeping their way into the public. I was wondering/hoping there might be stuff like that with Amstrad CPC and its version of Gryzor.
