This was an amazing game when it came out, would a PC remake add to that?

Really? I always thought of it as a poor mans Switchblade. If it weren't for the fact it was the first "non cartridge" Plus game, I can't imagine many people would even remember it.

I always felt the jumps on those both games switchblade and Trogan (sharing obviously the same engine) are odd and not the best... can't compare to rick dangerous per example.

Otherwise nice games using well Mode1 and nice raster effects.

I should get my hands on a Switchblade cartridge.

My dad nearly got one on eBay the other week for a few quid even though we have nothing to play CPC cartridges on!

It's one of my faves and I see it as the spiritual successor to SwitchBlade.  I certainly enjoy it far more than the official SwitchBlade II on the 16-bits.  I also like the more realistic proportions of the main character sprite though I do prefer Hiro from SwitchBlade's character and his one button charge fighting (though his sprite's 'cuteness' is one of the few things I dislike about SwitchBlade as it kinda ruins the setting and atmosphere somewhat).

And I never had a Plus so the sky gradients (which are more common, varied and vastly superior to the quite poor effect seen in the cartridge of SwitchBlade) weren't available to me anyway.   Both games get some extra colour tricks even on 464 though (I've got Stryker's cdt file loaded up on my 464 at moment actually) so they're a bit more colorful and well designed graphically than your standard cheapo Spectrum ports which are often the case with Mode 1 games.
Favorite CPC games: Count Duckula 3, Oh Mummy Returns, RoboCop Resurrection, Tankbusters Afterlife
