Why can't we have a game like this on The CPC...?

Some of you French developers could make one called Parkour(Free Running). Simple minimilist graphics, but with great gameplay!

I am sure something similar along these lines could be produced on the CPC . I think these games are great fun , , unlockable characters with different attributes , different routes . Etc...
Any thoughts?

I would like to see a game more like this:


Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis/PS3) 2 Player VS. (Popoman100 vs. SlientkilerX)

The smooth parallax is probably the neatest thing about this.


I'm sure the CPC could do it easily however, either through double buffered shifted scrolling method, or, on the CPC Plus, having the platforms be sprites at their lowest resolution.


- 11 sprites for the platforms 16x16@4x4 magnification.
- 1 sprite being redrawn "offscreen" - the slow sprite redrawing would not be a problem.
- all sprites move left 1 MODE 0 pixel per frame (can adjust this for different running speeds).
- could vertically adjust the sprite locations to create some vertical interest, like in canabalt.




Software sprite for the animated main character. Can use MODE 1 here for definition, scroll the background using Plus scrolling at half the rate of the front sprites.


And I think Sonic is just slightly more difficult for the CPC!

Sorry, I should of explained properly

I dont want Sonic, but what I would like to see is that particular 2 player vs mode integrated into a game like Line Runner.
The 2 player vs mode on sonic is probably one of the best examples of a side scrolling racing game.
