No problem on my CRTC1, but indeed, one has to watch out when making a fullscreen on CRTC2... Which is probably something the coder overlooked!

Open face A with Winape and go to Menu File -> Drive A: -> Edit Disc (Check Show Sytem Files) and you'll see "a special file" to run

Targhan

Nice hidden surprise :). I suck at such games. Is there anything when the level is finished?

I've got a problem with running the game on real 6128 (CRTC2) and Zax Drive (Gotek with Flash Floppy) running from *DSK file.
After starting the game i've got "MEMORY FULL IN 10" error.
Well, tomorrow i will be changing CRCT to 1 (most new demos not working on 2), but i don't think it will help.
Anyone had a similar problem?

thanks for the advice :),  but i run the file and the emulator gets stuck, i will download other version of the game and check again

Targhan

@drakon Only a thought, do you have any ROMs connected? If yes, try disconnecting them.

Well, I had an issue as well, running the game on a CRTC2 with a Floppy Emulator. Not the same, though. Anyway, have you tried the solution Kukulcan suggested? Cause it worked for me:

RUN"MENUUK (English) or
RUN"MENUFR (French) or
RUN"MENUESP (Spanish)

drakon

Will try it today. Thanks for info.

EDIT: I've changed CRTC to version 1 today and the game runs fine.

I was wondering if there was a version on 3.5 (no flipping required), or that plays nice with the M4 WiFi? The game starts OK from the M4, but requires changing disk (side), which can't be done on the M4. I've written it out to disc, but then I get weird errors, either with the M4 ROM turned on (a weird "disk not inserted" error without a proper drive label, or "line too long" if M4 is turned off). I even tried extracting the discs to a folder, but that didn't work either (I can't remember the issue, but it didn't seem happy - I think it failed after selecting a character)

I could play on an emulator, but there's something about playing on real hardware that feels right.

Optimus

Hah, I wasn't warned when I teleport to final level 16, there is no way back (and a save has happened). So I was with 19/20 banners, not having completed fully level 15 when I stepped in the teleport (Now I have to play from the start :P)

Hi there!

Well I explored all rooms in lower part of the map and there is only one field, I can fall down and loose health points there after few steps I have to walk into an stars field, which brings me "upstairs" again. How to proceed? Any idea?

The M4 is only really experimental, there's loads of games, roms and CPC specific programs that won't run, but it's definitely a fun bit of kit...

I did think about creating a list of working and non working until I realised that there's thousands of games and other software [emoji23]

The very first of course, I'm not familiar with that kind of games.  :)

Well, I only just found this!! But I was/am a huge fan of the original Dungeon Master franchise, and having played this for about 20 minutes (and died) I absolutely love it.

Playing on an expanded 6128 (512kb expansion) with a MultiFaceII (series 1) plugged in but not used and using a Gotek emulator, it works like a charm.

Although for some reason when I downloaded it, Face A of the disc was labelled Face B and vice versa which I found very odd.

But never mind, and excellent game, and once the kids shuffle off to bed tonight, it will get a proper hammering.

I'm new to the old CPC world (well, I had one as a kid) so am slowly remembering/learning stuff.

I love this game! Superb job!

It looks nice enough on the Amiga, but somehow not impressive as on the Amstrad!
