That's an interesting topic indeed! I don't think there are complete release lists for most houses though...

Ocean Software - Space Gun (CPC+ 1992) <CPC Classic needed>

I think Ocean's last classic CPC game was The Addams Family.

Others to add to the list:

Alternative Software - Bully's Sporting Darts (?)
Level 9 - Scapeghost
US Gold - Bonanza Bros.

Hammer Boy , for Dinamic, 1991... and Chichén Itzá, conversational, as Aventuras AD

US Gold - all depends on when Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis came out - it was very low key and unlike the other computer magazines, AA never reviewed it.

Ocean - I'm more inclined to say Space Gun, although that too was very low key and if what I've heard is right, never released in the UK, so I'd say Addams Family.

Codemasters - mix between Wrestling Superstars, Crystal Kingdom Dizzy and Robin Hood Legend Quest.

Domark - Super Space Invaders or Pitfighter - either way, went out on a major low.

Imageworks/Mirrorsoft - Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles 2 - The Coin-Op

Rainbow Arts - Turrican 2

Hewson - Deliverance: Stormlord 2

UBI Soft - BAT (UK) - not sure when they released Chessmaster 2000 (France).

You're right about Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. I forgot all about that game. I thought for a long time that the CPC version was only released in France, but in fact it was released in the UK because I saw a copy with an English instruction manual sell for about £208, IIRC.

I think you're right to say Indiana Jones for US Gold - unless Street Fighter II actually came out and nobody noticed....  ;D

Oh its more difficult that i thought!

Then it depends of the country, and if the label released 3 games the same month is difficult to guess what was the latest

Here in spain on all the cassettes they put a "legal deposit" that is a unique number for every cassette (the same product i mean)

in the uk is there something like this?

In fact SF2 really exists for Amstrad CPC
but it was a copy of the spectrum version, then nobody notice that it was for CPC!

There is an urban legend that say that the people who put the game on his CPC the keyboard became tiny, the keys sticky and the AY started to work only on 1 channel!

Also....

Electronic Arts - Skate or Die

Mindscape - Captain Planet or PAperboy 2 (both were coded by Dave PErry but Paperboy was reviewed in AA first)

Elite - World Championship Soccer (low key release)

Anco - Kick Off 2

Virgin - Golden Axe

Accolade - Gunboat

Firebird - Action Fighter

Infogrames - North and South (UK)

Palace - Barbarian 2

Psygnosis - Lemmings

Hi-Tec - Turbo the Tortioise

Seriously...
What's the problem of the forum with line spacing?????

Establishing such a list is a great idea !
I personally have a fond memory of that period, circa 1992-93, despite the fact few games were released. I can remember how the games from Elmar K really shined out (Super Cauldron, Prehistorik 2, Zap't'Balls). There were many disappointments, too (bad games). Back then, I was amazed that the Amstrad machines were still kind of alive, almost 8-9 years after the release of the Amstrad CPC 464.
Every magazines got less and less pages to read. A luck we had a smooth transition to fanzines/diskmags, to help.

My current project is Sonic GX, a remake of Sonic the Hedgehog for the awesome Amstrad GX-4000 game console!

Sauvez Yurk may also be a contender for Ubi Soft's last CPC release.

kawickboy

Last Ubi Soft game on CPC may be Back to the Golden Age.

Loriciel: Best of the Best (Panza Remake)

When did Ocean release Battle Command ?

I think you're right. BAT and Sauvez Yurk were reviewed in the February 1991 issue of Amstrad Cent Pour Cent, whereas Back to the Golden Age was reviewed in the November/December 1991 issue, according to CPC-POWER.

QuoteWhen did Ocean release Battle Command ?

Late 1991 or early 1992.
