nice to see some progess:)
not nice to see it still on X.

Go BlueSky => #xodus!

I'm not sure if this is really a new thing. You can see the cars rotating in the teaser shown years ago.
I prefer not to see anything so as not to spoil the work in progress of the game through the graphics.

HAL6128

a different car (Audi) ...

For me it's not nice to see political propaganda in an Amstrad forum. Please keep the site free of politics and we all would be happier.

I tend to agree. On one hand, Musk is a tremendous jerk and I've seen tons of subreddits banning X links.

On the other hand, if users are posting on X then it'd be good to see that content here instead of blindly running away from the platform. Especially since alternative platforms have rather plateau'ed.

Honestly, I think banning links related to Amstrad from a platform based on the political thoughts of the platform owner is a pretty stupid idea. Reddit is highly biased and I don't think it's a good model to import anywhere.

Should I ask you about your political views to decide if I keep posting my project updates here?

What isn't nice is trying to tell people what platform to use.
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

Hopefully we can all agree that message forums are superior to any billionaire-owned social media platform.

robcfg

Everything has pros and cons, and maintaining computer systems to distribute information to millions of people is not cheap nor free.

For maintaining discussion on a certain topic and keeping the information available for longer time, forums and wikis are the best for sure. But even maintaining a forum like this, costs money so these information sharing systems will always belong to someone else, billionaire or not.

That said, if you look at social media companies, they all belong to billionaires because they are the ones that have the money to make it happen.

Can we go back to topic?

Brocky

whats wrong with following Sugar on X?!

..i think its best to keep all politics out of the forum...
it just causes division and other issues.... we can all get along without the need to know each others political views!

Gryzor

Enough politics.

I am not totally against it if it's done in a nice way, but feel free TO OPEN A NEW THREAD instead of hijacking other people's threads.

The number of frames being used is impressive. They sure seem to be putting in the work.

I am very excited to see a racing game on the CPC where the opponent cars move smoothly instead of popping around and looking really quantised. Something with motion comparable to arcade version of Pole Position (looks amazing for 1982)

My expectation is that by burning many frames in cartridge memory we're going to see the kind of fluid motion that would otherwise be impossible on CPC. Those cars look superb.
