6128 Plus has arrived just waiting for the power cables, drive cables then will give it a whirl

Gryzor

Hell yeah :D Any cartridge games?

dcdrac

I have a GX4000 as well I have Robocop2, Pang, Burning Rubber, Switchblade, Tintin on the Moon, getting Parados for it too
One thing though can you use CPR images with an HXC floppy emulator?

Gryzor

No, the HxC is purely a disk drive emulator. The machine sees it as a disk drive, so there's no possibility of anything else (well, with the exception of the ST that can also read hardfiles from it).

dcdrac

I amazed at this machine just shows what an 8 Bit machine can do

dcdrac

Its weird I felt a real drive to obtain old Amstrads and BBCs, that I have never felt about the c64, Spectrum , Atari ST and Amiga, and I did own all of those too when a kid.
Only the CPCs and the Beebs I have wanted physical working examples of.

Bryce

Have you got them all now? Or are you still looking for any particular CPC or BBC?

Bryce.

dcdrac

I have 3 464s,  3 6128s 1 6128 Plus and 1 GX4000, 2 BBC Bs  and one Spectrum.

TFM

The spectrum must be a rescue  ;)

It does not seem to power up at least nothing displays and no way of telling if its distributing power, the Power supply works.

Bryce

If it's the 48K rubber keyed one, then that's not suprising. Send it over if you want it fixed.

Bryce.
