Amstrad FD-10

Sorry if this is not the place to ask but any help appreciated. I have an Amstrad FD-10 500K 5.25 [ Not the DDI-1/FD-1] and I am scratching my head to find out which machine it is used with. One site suggests the 1512 and 1640 but there is no connector suitable on the computer. Has anyone got a link to a technical reference manual or details on its usage. I really would like to get it working.
Please also advise if this is the wrong forum for this kind of thing.

The FD-11 was an external 5.25" HD disc drive for the 2086 line of Amstrad

The FD-10 could maybe be the DD version. Seems it shares the same design and connectors with the FD-11.

Not sure if the 1520/1640 did have connectors for external floppies but I guess not.

Judging from the connectors, it's just a standard PC floppy drive in an external case.

Two things that have thrown me and that is the drive was in a box with my BBC hardware and a BBC drive. I only got interested cus I saw the Amstrad name and I have an FD-1. Also the only search that I got to start with was from the computer science museum who said it was from a 1512. I have a 1512 and it has double floppies already and there is no connector that takes what the FD-10 has. The drive is a Matsushita FMDO1720B4 the same as in the Commodore PC10-III see https://oldcrap.org/2018/12/30/commodore-pc-10-iii/.. I was just intrigued with the range of Amstrad drives and what the drives capabilities are ie track size etc. The small IEEE-488 style connector appears the same as on the Pet dual floppies and I am assuming the other is a molex power connector.
I saw a reference to to the Amstrad PC20 but thats the same as the Sinclair PC200 and that doesn't have the connector so I'm guessing its from the 2086 range as you suggest.
I know where most of my stuff came from but this one snook in somewhere.  I'll post a blog with pics in a few days and pop a link on here.
