I am REALLY bad at self promotion... I actually write for an Australian magazine called "Gametraders Live". For those of you not in Australia, Gametraders are a chain of video game stores that sell both old & new games. The odd Amstrad game pops up on the shelves every now & again, but it's rare to see. Most of the focus is on Nintendo & Sega. Anyway, this month on pages 114-116 I reminisced a little about type ins on my old CPC6128.

Hope you all like it!

Ah, you must leave it a bit; the UI on that site is a disgrace, the cover is supposed to serve as a progress indicator...

It works wonderfully in the issuu app for Android. A great read thanks.

Thanks!
Yes, the UI is a bit ordinary unfortunately. It does the job though :)

Just read it, a nice article - thanks!

Though - a CPC-related article with a c64 photo? :D Not even ReroGamer would do that!

Anyone know others publication about CPC on issuu.com ?
In STARS, TREK is better than WARS.

I just write the article, the graphic designer puts up all the images. I didn't find out about that until it was published  :)

I was in talks with Stuart Hunt about writing for Retro Gamer. He was ready to send me the contract & everything, then contact went dead. I learned he had moved on to another magazine. I tried emailing Darran three times but never got a reply.

Cheers,  good read.  Ahh the memories....I remember my father cursing the magazine errors ( not to mention our own ) as we both spent hours going line by line through code. :)
