This discussion reminds me of the Chase H.Q 2 story and I feel angry again.

ComSoft6128

Chase H.Q. 2 story?
What happened with that?

VincentGR

A guy bought the cart at a high price.
The game is rare and there is no dump.
So, he uploaded a video on YT and that was it...

ComSoft6128

That stinks,

It might be his property but still..........

I agree, I'm more of a sharing person, what's the point having some rare item that is locked away for nobody else to see, bit like the art collector who buys a van gough and then hangs it in his house and never lets anyone else enjoy it, much better to hang it in a public gallery for people to enjoy it.
Quote from: TotO on 13:07, 08 May 19A dump is for preservation... That will never decrease the physical version. The invert, it can make it popular and increase the resell value.
By the way, I know who have won the auction and it is more the opposite of "TheOppositeOfJesus" !  ;D
Does that mean we are likely to see these dumped?

I'm pretty sure, except if they don't work or the post lost them.  :-\

ABC, Doodle, Parrotry Plus, Ultra Sound and Utilities Unlimited will be on cpc-power.

I think is not so rare as the people thinks.  When i find two consecutive serial numbers. I can demostrate that more  of 70000 where manufactured, not only 10000 as the people think.

These seller have another 464:

There's multiple reasonably priced GX4000's up for auction at the moment from a french seller:

Untested and without any peripherals or system cart, but I'm happier having my money go to gerard instead of some ebay scalper...

Note that the cheapest one miss one joystick port and its second one is missing most of its pins.
I would only consider this one as a source of spare ASIC ... if it's working.

I agree I think far more than 10000 were made, shame the same probably isn't true of the games

I'm sure I ran across Alan Sugar in an interview quoting a figure of 25,000

Oh certainly. I know I can fix pretty much anything else if the ASIC is okay. And getting *anything* with plus features down here is already a nightmare, it's not like I've got the option of stumbling across one cheaply in a market stall or anything.

I'd be in, but its about 5x what I can pay for it! I'd LOVE a 664! (for no real reason, other than the cool blue buttons!)

I'm watching only!
