Hi All,
I'm hoping to assemble a playlist of the best CPC tunes (including games and demoscene productions) for the next episode of my podcast, Bitstream.
There's such a huge back catalogue - any suggestions would be very welcome!
Ideally these need to sound awesome now in their own right - as many listeners won't be CPC fans so lack the required CPC nostalgia gene :D
I'll of course credit suggestions / usernames in the show :)
Thanks,
Steve (TCM/Slipstream)
I'd vote for BSC's Space Debris conversion.
Oh I have plenty here from games past.
Most of the tunes from Platoon
North Star
Hydrofool
Netherworld
Robocop
Rasterscan
Zynaps
Aliens (eventhough it's quite short)
Prehistorik II
Beyond The Ice Palace
Dizzy
Ghosts N Goblins (Elite version)
Bounder
Thats off the top of my head.

That's right! How could I forget McKlain. Probably my favorite recent musician on the Amstrad.
This is a feast for the ears: https://mcklain.bandcamp.com/album/basic-11-ready-a-chiptune-compilation
Thanks again! That's more than enough for a half hour show - but I will revisit this again in the future for a CPC Part 2 :)
Croco magneto! Can hear the music now!
Shockway rider!
I have to say, I love this thread! I'm a big Amstrad music fan and I have a bunch of music converted to mp3 to listen to it any time. This thread has given me new leads on new cool music that I didn't know about. Thanks!!
Shadow of the Beast!
Er... sorry.
Ramparts :)
Super Pipeline II

Another one for Part 2 (courtesy of @ervin (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=82))

You can find many tunes to play and edit downloading Cngsoft's Chipnsfx tracker
Huh, didn't know about that tracker... Anyone can post a mirror because our corporate firewall does not allow dynamic IP services?

Ah yes, I've heard of that.
A great CPC musician composed those tracks. ;)

Lovely, lovely podcast. Wish episodes were longer!

And another one not mention in the previous posts is the music from the 3 stage of Vindicator.(hearing it without the fx makes much more sense).

Ah, the vindicator. I actually prefered the intro tune (which also plays during level 1). It's really atmospheric and adds to the game!

This website might help you: https://rolandradio.net/ (https://rolandradio.net/)
It's a website that streams Amstrad CPC chiptune 24/7 . I don't really see a place within the website in which you can see the information on the music he plays, but I think the person running it might be willing to give you the information if you ask nicely. Good luck!
PS: Added your podcast to the links section of the wiki: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Links (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Links)
Maybe I'm a bit late but here are two of my favorite tunes on CPC that come to mind and not already mentioned here:
Sapiens (Loriciels) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp-clrlS05o)
Cybernoid (Hewson) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amIzfx1Jmtc)
In memorial to BENN DAGLISH, my favourite of all his AY musics... with AVENGER a close second! ^_^

I was a bit proud of the title music in Space Rivals.
Listen with headphones to get the stereo effects, especially noticeable in the beginning.
Click the link - not Play in the embedded video. Must start at 6:48 to listen to the title music.

My favourite music from CPC games are: Captain Blood, Robocop (choose redefine keys), Thanatos, Manhatan95 (intro), Titus The Fox, Gaza II (main menu and option), Solomon's Key (after game over), Prohibition, and Lemmings (most of them). :)
Or try this "BitFellas BitJam Podcast", parts 143 and 145 are from CPC.
You must scroll down, to find MP3 > http://www.bitfellas.org/page.php?204
Or click on YT there is possible to click any song at start. :)
