Hi All,

I'm hoping to assemble a playlist of the best CPC tunes (including games and demoscene productions) for the next episode of my podcast, Bitstream.

There's such a huge back catalogue - any suggestions would be very welcome!

Ideally these need to sound awesome now in their own right - as many listeners won't be CPC fans so lack the required CPC nostalgia gene :D

I'll of course credit suggestions / usernames in the show :)

Thanks,

Steve (TCM/Slipstream)

villain

I'd vote for BSC's Space Debris conversion.

Shaun M. Neary

Oh I have plenty here from games past.

Most of the tunes from Platoon
North Star
Hydrofool
Netherworld
Robocop
Rasterscan
Zynaps
Aliens (eventhough it's quite short)
Prehistorik II
Beyond The Ice Palace
Dizzy
Ghosts N Goblins (Elite version)
Bounder

Thats off the top of my head.

Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

That's right! How could I forget McKlain. Probably my favorite recent musician on the Amstrad.
This is a feast for the ears: https://mcklain.bandcamp.com/album/basic-11-ready-a-chiptune-compilation
