The Amstrad 64? This is clearly done by commodore fanboys :D
The source link to the CPC on eBay was 375 euros not £3,117. How did they figure that out? And wasn't the C64 released 2-3 years before the CPC anyway? That's a long time in computing.
Oh, I did see the sources at the bottom but since they're not clickable I didn't try typing it...
Journalism at its best.

What's so funny about it. Of course a CPC464 is two times worth the Apple lisa. :D
Where are they buying these things.
I have a few spare game gears, laserdisc players and Saturns I can sell there.
I am in too! I am rich and I did not even know it! :-\

Yeah sure, judging by the ridiculously researched "failed tech page" alone, I'd totally entrust my money to you. ::)
the link for the Amstrad CPC464 goes to a German ebay seller who sells would like to sell one for ~400 Euros.

Big Mac is just a cheap burger around the world for peoples loving low end products.
Sure, I don't speak about the nice picture shown on adds, but what you get after ordering... :-\

I once worked in a restaurant and a customer complained that his food didn't look exactly like the picture in the menu.
I told him the meal in the menu was made of plastic and that actually worked.
There was nothing wrong as the meal looked fine but anyone who has worked in a restaurant will understand awkward customers.

And he was right. Because, other fastfoods have burgers looking more close to the picture.
Wasn't fast food I worked in. It was a restaurant and it looked like the picture.
Customers complain over stupid stuff all the time. "My hash browns aren't the same shade as my husbands" and so on.

CPC developers obviously believe that quality is more important than quantity.

I remember my time working for Dell, some of the people we had ringing in, I'm convinced are prime candidates for a Darwin award.
We had this dude call in, this would have been 2002, so Windows XP was still the OS of choice as it had been over a year since it's release and at SP 1a stage. He's convinced his screen has a fault in it because of a white vertical line going down the centre of it. It doesn't happen when it powers off so it's not a crack. The most hilarious part of it was that he had contacted the guys in Banglore previously and they told him to take the big blue cd and pop it into the drive and reboot (that used to drive us nuts, a format and reinstall was that call centres answer to everything!).
Guess what? His problem was a non existent one. Of course, I was the messenger who got shot after the dude lost all his data.
His problem... is attached below.

And everybody working hard for his (not her!) money and spending shit tons of it for a decent meal (=steak, not rubbish seafood crap!) and then gets something weird will understand how awkward service people can be sometimes.[nb]The coin has at least two sides, right?[/nb] ;) :)

Lol... that's exactly my current day to day job at a call center for a well known brand with an half eaten Fruit.
yeah, the right click is not a myth, you can do it on this mouse too.
So many technologically challenged persons, how can they earn that much money ?
And when you end up with a case where 3-5 colleagues before you were searching for an "issue" that is actually the normal way of working for the device... yeah, iOs apps may not work nor even exist on MacOS X... those are 2 different range of computers, if you want netflix on a computer, no need for application just connect to the fucking website !!!
Then customer is pissed of at you because you are a lier because the previous colleagues searched for a solution with him during 5 hours.

I'll have you know I worked very hard at my job and was also very good at it.
And anyone like him that spends £6.99, which isn't spending shittons, that then expects something from the Ritz isn't just awkward but an idiot.

I have friends and family phoning me to help fix their computer over phone so I can only imagine what it must be like for that to have been your job.
I don't know how you did it. At least I can say what I want to say to them ;D
And now imagine the amount of hardware my friends/relatives give me to fix :)

My current career (photographer) isn't much different. Everyone wants shit done for free as I only 'press a button'.
You want your photos for free, go buy a selfie stick, you want my services? Fucking support me because repairs and maintenance costs money!
*still annoyed as my 14-24mm lens is still in for repair.

Did you know that microsoft applications actually can fail to handle hotmail addresses automatically ?
