I'm beginning to dislike Kangaroo, whoever he is. I donated 50 euro to hosting not that long ago. And now he shuts down everything? That's not cool.

Some people offered their help (including me) to host wiki & forum.
Also we offered to host cpc-forum.de, too.

But which reaction is that?
Everything is deleted and no backups are available???

This has nothing to do with CPC-Scene!
This is just kindergarten!

@mr_lou: as with the wiki, Kangaroo has the right to withdraw support from whatever he supports. But they way he does it is simply unacceptable. Did he really delete the german forum's database? If so, it sucks so much... and it proves that he cares more about his inflated ego than about the CPC scene. It's one thing withdrawing support, and another *actively damaging* it...

When we had the discussion about closing down the Wiki and the cpc-forum in the german forum, I offerd to pay 100 Euro for every month, the only answer I got was a bit insulting. I don't think that money is the problem. However, now we got - Thanks to Devil Markus - the new place for the CPCWiki.

And hey, the new "price" for the CPCWiki is pretty different from the old "price". I feel no differences in the performance.

I don't think money was the issue either - ridiculousness is more like it. And indeed, we may be having some problems due to the current server's different configuration (we had to copy and move all of the existing data, after all), but it certainly doesn't look bad to me...

Right, I wanted to say that the new one is not slower, which means that it is faster. May I shall provide a tranlation table to TFM's english ;-) Next time I try to speak more clearly. However, it's much better than before and we can sleep better too ;-)
